| Donald Bailey, has recently retired from his position
as Conductor of the Baylor Chamber
Singers, Director of Choral Activities, and the Mary Gibbs Jones
Professor of Music at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Dr. Bailey is
known throughout the United States as a distinguished conductor and clinician
and has appeared as a guest conductor at Carnegie Hall and at Avery Fisher
Hall in Lincoln Center. |
| The Baylor Chamber singers is an ensemble dedicated to the
intimate vocal artistry that only a small choral group can achieve.
Singing sacred and secular music of many centuries, each year's membership
achieves the goals of musical excellence established by the founder and
composer Robert H. Young in 1962. |
| Kurt Kaiser is a pianist, composer, and arranger whose music of the Christian faith is known worldwide. In addition to many recordings with well-known artists, he has recorded sixteen solo piano albums, receiving a Dove Award for Psalms, Hymns, and Spiritual Songs. Pass It On and Oh How He Loves You and Me are two of his 200 copyrighted songs. In 1992, ASCAP awarded Mr. Kaiser a Lifetime Achievement Award; In 2000, he was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame in Nashville. |
